Du`a' in a language other than Arabic

A: It is permissible for a person to supplicate to Allah in the language they know, whether it is Arabic, English, Urdu or any other, as Allah (Exalted be He) says: Allâh burdens not a person beyond his scope. Allah also says: So keep your duty to Allâh and fear Him as much as you can (Part No. 7; Page No. 114) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
